One of the most important weeks on the Euroleague Basketball calendar has arrived with the staging of One Team Games all over the continent from Tuesday to Friday.

One Team is a long-running and hugely successful social responsibility program, which sees all 40 clubs in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup offer valuable support to vulnerable members of their local communities with an ongoing schedule of inspirational basketball-based activities.

This week's 20 games in the two competitions will showcase the program, with every EuroLeague player showing his support by proudly wearing One Team on the back of his shirt instead of his own name. Every home club will also stage a series of special events to celebrate the program, including One Team participants and athletes from Special Olympics taking part in on-court pre-game ceremonies.

Roser Queralto, Chief Business Officer of Euroleague Basketball, said: "One Team has been a very important part of the Euroleague Basketball family for many years, and the One Team Games have quickly become a highlight on the schedule.

"The activities taking place over the next few days are a great way to shine a spotlight on the important aims of One Team, to achieve real social impact, and to ensure that all of our 40 clubs in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup can take a bow as they strive to deliver even more impactful programs in their local communities."

Players and One Team participants all over Europe will be drumming this week to the same rhythm – crated by our social partner Basket Beats – to support the One Team initiative, starting on Tuesday with six games in Round 9 of the EuroCup Regular Season.

One of those meetings will see LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne host Partizan NIS Belgrade. ASVEL big man Amine Noua – who serves as his team's One Team Ambassador – is greatly looking forward to this annual celebration of the program.

"I'm proud to represent ASVEL one more year within One Team," Noua said. "I'm excited for the next EuroCup game at Astroballe to start the One Team Games celebration. For me, this One Team program is very important. It means solidarity, sharing, pleasure and determination."

EuroLeague teams will follow suit on Thursday and Friday, and among the star players who fully understand the importance of One Team is Kyle Hines, the program's Global Ambassador. The CSKA Moscow center is delighted to shine the spotlight on One Team during Thursday's local derby with Khimki Moscow Region

"It's very exciting to take a part in the annual One Team Game for the EuroLeague," Hines said.

"It has been great to see how the One Team project has continued to grow. Players every year look forward to these games to show our support for One Team and to highlight the mission of the project all around the world. We are all thankful for the opportunity to give back and show support for the people in need in our communities."

Along with current stars like Hines, former greats like Dimitris Diamantidis, a Euroleague Basketball Legend, have signed up to support One Team.

"I have been amazed by the variety of activities going on all over Europe," the ex-Panathinaikos OPAP Athens star said. "It's great to see the sport I love making such a positive impact upon people's lives. I am really looking forward to playing my part during the One Team Games and into the future."

One Team, supported by Turkish Airlines as the One Team Founding Patron and with the collaboration of Special Olympics as Proud Partner, uses basketball to achieve meaningful social impact in our communities across Europe and is supported by every club in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup.

Since its founding in 2012, the One Team program has already helped more than 16,000 participants through its various team-focused projects.
